VOTE FOR NEIL JESKE SXF City Council Northeast Election Day Apr 9th Northeast Unite
STATESMAN - NOT A POLITICIAN.
Viva La Libertad Carajo - Javier Milei
Don't Steal The Government Hates Competition - Ron Paul
In most respects a statesman is the opposite of a politician. Politicians are thought of as people who will say or do anything to get elected or to gain power. A statesman is someone who does everything for the common good of the people he or she represents. - WIKIPEDIA
Neil Jeske never planned to run for City Council. After receiving word that the City Of Sioux Falls was now requiring(do not comply) tenants and property owners to take two hour propaganda class about being a landlord of your own spare bedroom, pay a $50 extortion fee per address(where is that money going to go? It will be $100 later because they want more of our money.), asked to give away personal information(It's none of their business.) This harms lower and working class people just trying to make ends meet and create opportunity for their families. Also after seeing the Mayor's staff three appointed positions wages enriching themselves off the hard working tax payers and not paying better wages to front line city workers. He has decided to park his semi truck and leave his successful small business to run for the North East City Council seat for Sioux Falls to represent the people, cut government waste, and open transparency and opportunity for all . Local ordinances cannot override state law, we have a local government with statist looking to control more of your life and tax you to death. This is un-American and must be reversed.
My personal story , I moved here to Sioux Falls in 2020 to expand my small business and enjoy all the benefits living in South Dakota has to offer. One of my grandmothers is from Hanson County, South Dakota and it cool to be living in a place where you have historical roots in your family. More freedom and less government is a South Dakota tradition and If I can earn your vote I will continue to carry on that tradition with a limited government platform.
I have a personal story of being a statesman, I was a temporary city worker for the City Of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin for my first real look at a career type job at the time I was twenty years old. I was a garbage man for over 3 years and also worked at the recycle center. I loved the job and saw the others earning a very nice income serving the public in this capacity. After a trip to the DMV to get the CMV study book, I asked a veteran city worker for some time to explain the engine parts and learn a pre-trip inspection. We used the City of Wauwatosa semi truck to drive to Milwaukee and take my test to get my CDL. Not only was I able to serve the community, I was able to gain a life long skill getting a commercial drivers license. Using city resources to gain valuable work skills for our working age citizens and legal immigrants of this city. This should BE ALWAYS ENCOURAGED.I still have that commercial drivers license to this day, over a decade later.
I would like to thank the citizens of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and the Public Works Department because they gave me the opportunity and I took it. It changed my life for the better dramatically with having a career skill as a young adult starting out in life and the work force.
